Joy of the Gospel: How timely; Pope Francis has just given us a big message called the Joy of the Gospel. You can read about it and link to it here: http://www.americamagazine.org/responding-joy-gospel. He puts something in there about how evangelizers shouldn’t look like they’ve just come back from a funeral, and goes on to quote Paul VI about the: “… delightful and comforting joy of evangelizing, even when it is in tears that we must sow…”.

Saturdays are coming back: Second Saturday meetings, in addition to second Tuesday, will RETURN in January.

January book: is The Holy Longing: The Search for a Christian Spirituality by Fr. Ronald Rolheiser, OMI. My apologies for having succeeded at picking what appears to be the ONE book of his that is not currently available on Kindle and such. Won’t let that happen again.
